UniLens is operated by Blairgowrie HE Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 17140253), registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

By creating an account or subscribing to UniLens, you agree to these terms.

1. What UniLens provides

UniLens is a data platform for education advisors. It presents official government and regulatory data about universities across multiple countries. The platform includes institution profiles, comparison tools, PDF briefs, and a map view.

Data is refreshed annually, typically in August. Between refreshes, the data shown is from the most recent available release of each source.

2. Accounts and plans

You can create a free account with an email address. Paid plans (Explorer, Professional, Enterprise) are billed annually in US dollars through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. One account is for one person unless you are on an Enterprise plan.

3. Payments and cancellation

• All prices are in US dollars.
• Payment is taken at the start of each annual billing period.
• You can cancel at any time through your account. Access continues until the end of your paid period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial years.
• If your payment fails, Stripe will retry automatically. If payment cannot be collected, your access will be suspended until payment is resolved.

4. What you can do

• Use UniLens to support your work advising students.
• Share PDF briefs generated by the platform with students and their families.
• Reference UniLens data in conversations and presentations.
• On a Professional or Enterprise plan, share your white-label branded version with students and parents.

5. What you cannot do

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to UniLens or its data.
• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the platform.
• Present UniLens data as your own original research.
• Share your login with others (except on Enterprise plans where multi-user access is included).
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

6. Data accuracy

UniLens presents data from official government and regulatory sources. We display this data as published. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular decision.

UniLens is an information tool. It is not financial advice, legal advice, or a university recommendation service. Advisors should use their own professional judgement alongside the data we provide.

7. Ambassador Programme

Ambassadors are approved by UniLens and receive a referral code. For each paid subscription through their code, the ambassador earns $100, paid quarterly. UniLens may change or end the Ambassador Programme at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Availability

We aim to keep UniLens available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform is a static site hosted on Netlify and has no planned maintenance windows. If something goes wrong, we will fix it as quickly as we can.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will email subscribers. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@unilens.co.uk. We may close your account if you breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, UniLens and Blairgowrie HE Limited are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
